Robert Tardik
Smooth Jazz Guitarist
At the age of seven, Robert Tardik’s father gave him his first guitar and he has never looked back. He went on to study classical guitar/theory at the Royal Conservatory and received the first ever musical scholarship from Glenforest High School. He studied Music/Fine Arts at York University in Toronto and received a diploma in Recording Engineering from the Toronto Recording Workshop. Busy boy that he is, he also received a Diploma from Humber College in Television/Media Arts Program.
In 1991, Robert's musical act - Paradise Alley - received a Recording Contract with MCA / Duke Street Records. Since entering the world of smooth jazz, Robert maintains a steady weekly gigging as a soloist, in a duo with Carson and with Vickie and her various acts. His debut CD “Without Words” has just been completed and his first single “Smoothy” can be heard on WAVE 94.7. Robert is also involved in promoting, selling and distributing a unique teaching accessory tool for musicians which he invented called The Music Stamp. www.musicstampseries.com
