Steve Manning
Smooth Jazz Guitar
 Steve Manning (guitar) obtained a Bachelor of Music (Composition & Education) degree at Wilfrid Laurier University and has also studied privately with Lloyd Garber and Rob Piltch. Since graduating he’s been busy teaching, and many of his students (Drew Henderson - classical guitar and Shane Told - vocals and guitar for Silverstein and Chris Cotton - guitar for Mike Branton) have become members of popular bands and are now enjoying careers as teachers themselves.
Steve has also played with many of Canada’s finest instrumentalists (Liona Boyd, Johannes Linstead) both live and on record. His talents as a solo artist are also in high demand and, as a master of bass, electric and acoustic guitar, has composed extensively for commercial production and television. Having already released two CDs in the Latin/Jazz Rock/World Music style, Steve is currently hard at work on his debut smooth jazz recording, tentatively titled “TranZenDance”.
Steve’s debut single “The Seeker” is currently being played on WAVE 94.7
